From indigenous to industry, municipalities to manufacturing, we’re helping organizations across the Island region use solar and EV solutions to reduce energy costs, GHG emissions and increase climate resilience.
Municipalities and Regional Districts
Canada’s local governments control or influence over 50 percent of Canada’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Vancouver Island has over 50 local governments. We can help with cost-effective solar and EV charging solutions to meet the legislated climate targets outlined in the CleanBC Roadmap to 2030 and Climate Preparedness and Adaptation Strategy.
The Local Government Climate Action Program (LGCAP) provides local governments with funding, guidance and direct support to effectively implement local climate action. We can help by providing solutions based on flexible funding that can meet both urban and rural needs.
Build energy resiliency and reliability as a municipal service provider by incorporating redundancy and energy backup systems for protective services (police, fire, rescue service, bylaw services), infrastructure, building facilities, parks & recreation, water and waste treatment and emergency operations centres. Governments typically hold assets for a very long time. Pairing solar with these assets maximizes the return to taxpayers over the long term.

We provide stand-alone EV charging solutions that can add value and convenience to your community. Our assessment and installation process will ensure it is easy to use, safe, reliable and thoughtfully placed. It is the most convenient way to charge electric vehicle daily and most affordable if paired with a solar PV system. This will ensure many years of vehicle charging and cost savings. Every system we install is engineered to fit your building, your budget and your goals.
EVs and Charging
Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Systems - High-Value Specialty
Level 3 DC Fast Charger (DCFC) Installation
→
Full-Service Design & Integration: Site assessment, electrical load calculation, and customized design for high-power DC fast charging hubs.
→
High-Voltage Infrastructure: Installation of required 480V-600V, 3-phase circuits, transformers and switchgear necessary to support ultra-fast charging units.
→
Commercial/Fleet Solutions: Rapid charging installations for transit depots, delivery fleet parking and commercial vehicle operators (maximizing uptime).

Energy Storage and Batteries
Battery storage systems can reduce peak demand charges from the grid, delivering significant savings as well as providing backup power during a grid outage.
Battery storage allows you to use more of the solar you produce at your business instead of exporting it to the grid. This allows you to avoid the variable costs associated with transmission and distribution.
We offer an array of customized solar-plus-battery solutions taking care of everything from system design, permitting (where applicable) and installation The systems we install are scalable, so they’ll grow with your community’s needs.

Indigenous Governing Bodies
We serve the over 50 Modern Treaty Nations and Indigenous Governing Bodies on Vancouver Island and the surrounding area.
Our first priority is meaningful consultation and engagement to build respectful relationships. Our consultation process and engagement initiatives for each project will be customized to your community. Because we work with you, not just for you.
We’ll stand side by side with you to design and install systems that ensure you’ll realize long-term sustainable benefits from your solar project.
